As a child I was enthralled with the rainbows on the floor that were created by the beveled windows in my family home.
Glass has always been important in my life as an artist. My degrees relating to art are a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art and a Master’s Degree from Parson’s School of Design in New York City. I have taught art in Elementary and Secondary school; at the University level and Continuing Education courses.
Throughout my life I have volunteered in the arts creating arts counsels, building arts center, designing government funded playgrounds for children, serving as the Governor Appointed Wyoming Arts Commission Chair and on the Board of the Western States Arts Commission, as well as serving on National Endowment for the Arts Panels.
As owner and artist of Glassworks by I have been focused on gallery shows, installations, commissions and competitions. I was a recipient of the National Endowment for the Arts Oregon Trail Chapel windows commission.
